Grantsville Woof-ems "Winter" Campout November 2012

Here are the scouts at Davenport Canyon in Grantsville. After we had a late start due to an unforeseen  closure of the Tooele canyon, we continued on to Grantsville. In the morning after being rudely awoken by a cow mooing right next to the tents and after a mildly cold night, we all scarfed down loads of WOOF-EMS! No complaints from anyone about the freshly cooked pie-filled delicious biscuit pockets topped with whipped cream! Most of us got MORE than our fill and slowly moved around from over eating.
To end the campout, we played an eventful game of British Bulldog, altered with duck-tape sword fighting. Great times!

Dinnertime for Jack - mmmm chocolate!

William Henderson is deciding whether or not he killed the tree enough.

Awe! Aren't they cute!?

Welcome Caleb Canon to his first Boy Scout campout. Now go sleep on the wood.

Woof-ems!

Ryan Souter rallied the scouts to make foam swords with PVC pipe, carpet padding and duct tape. (Learning to use duct tape in several of its infinite ways is an important step for any boy to become a man.) Everyone had a good time making their long swords and practicing their medieval battle skills.

Collecting fast offerings

Tony may have had a hurt ankle, but that didn't stop him from leading his teachers quorum in assisting the deacons with their responsibility.
